Kirsten Bertschi, MA, CCC-SLP

Founder, Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

Kirsten Bertschi is the founder, owner, and a speech-language pathologist at High Point Speech Therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Appalachian State University in 1995 and her Master of Arts in Communication Disorders from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1997. Kirsten is licensed by the state of North Carolina and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.

Over the course of her career, Kirsten has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, private clinics, and now her own growing practice, which she founded in 2019. She was drawn to speech-language pathology because of the opportunity to help others in a field with such a wide range of populations and experiences. Her favorite part of the profession is seeing children’s confidence grow as they progress through therapy.

Kirsten hopes every family who walks through the doors of High Point Speech Therapy feels valued, heard, seen, and cared for, while also having fun along the way. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, their three children, and friends.
